Engaging Notes = Approachable Notebooks

Once I saw the benefits of having anchor charts around the room I began digitizing them for student notebooks.

This was just another elevation in my teaching as I was again, better able to help my students.

Incorporation of anchor charts (with note spaces for student input) within notebooks chunks content in multiple ways. Not only does it break down vocabulary words for students, but it also makes notebook navigation simpler. The visuals aid in student memory and act as a map through notebooks. Plus, students can always color these! I LOVE this for those quick writers.

Tip!

Because our job is to meet students where THEY are at, I have included multiple differentiated PNG files in every anchor chart product.

Upon downloading from TPT, select the specialized file you feel your students need. Print copies of this file for your students. Project the colored file on the board!

As you teach, fill out the anchor chart as they do the same with their notes.

This enables you to use anchor charts each class while also enhancing student learning and notebooks.
